11 Scholarship Program

Casa Lala is a community. We support our members just as they support us.

Lala, our founder, was once a single mother supporting her child and aging parents while living paycheck to paycheck. Giving back has always been at the heart of everything she does. As part of that spirit, Casa Lala offers full and partial scholarships to every 11th child who joins any of our programs. The scholarships have been awarded on an as needed basis and first come first serve. For the past 14 years, we’ve quietly covered these costs ourselves.

In the difficult times that many families have been facing in the 24/25 school year alone, Casa Lala has provided more than $200,000 worth of scholarships that benefited over 140 families in our community, well beyond what had been our projected scholarship budget.

Today, we’re reaching out for the first time: To continue offering these scholarships, we’re opening this donation page. Every dollar raised will go directly to supporting these children and their families.
